So with all this talk about appreciating all the women in our lives today in class, and talking about why we appreciate them,
I feel particularly blessed to have some of the best ladies in my life, and having one of the most amazing best friends in...

So, this semester has revolved around researching gratitude, and it’s really put a lot into perspective for me. I’ve learned so much from this experience, most importantly how beneficial it is to be grateful for those people who support me. Wrapping up this project really got me to reflect, and honestly I think that;

I’ve made the right choices, I’ve ended up in a much better place. I can truly say that I’m happy after such a long time.

I love my best friends, and I don’t know where I would be without M and J. I’m grateful that they’ve taken me under their wings and they’ve shown me around, most importantly for breaking me out of my shell, and showing me the importance of just having fun. From random spur of the moment beach trips to getting slammed on bar crawls in downtown Pasadena, to just hanging out at J’s house and staying up until 4 am watching scary movies, and drinking in the hot tub. I’ve explored so many places, and learned so many things. I’ve met some of the most amazing people through them, and I’ve been welcomed by both of their families.

I’m grateful for all my new school friends, for man friend, for the amazing professors that have been so supportive, and for all the new friends that I’ve met through m and j, and just while being out.

This has been a stressful life transition, but I’m glad that I did it. I’m happy that I’ve made the choices that I’ve made that led me here, and I regret nothing.

And maybe I’m feeling all sorts of ways, because the holidays are here. Or maybe it was the long talk we had during our mini Christmas party gift exchange.

Happy Holidays<3
